The Story Behind the Painting: I felt compelled to paint an image from one of my favorite haunting children's bedtime stories written by the Brothers Grimm. It's something about that walk into the woods at night. I always pictured her older, carrying a lantern with the Big Bad Wolf hidden skillfully among the trees. Maybe I have a dark side.
